MEPA Academy is a fresh, new independent school of the performing arts.
We cater for children from ages 11 - 16 years old and blend a varied academic timetable with vocational training aimed at young people with ambitions to make a career in the performing arts industry.
What to expect
Pupils are able to follow our curriculum through to GCSE level within our academic programme as well as receiving a broad vocational training that includes audition preparation, classes delivered by industry professionals and the opportunity to take vocational exams with IDTA, ISTD, and LAMDA exam boards.
We are proud to offer exceptional training at our full time performing arts academy.
All the staff are approachable, the communication is great between parents and school, the teachers know the children individually and adapt the lessons to meet the child’s needs.
My daughter is thriving at MEPA - I have no hesitation in recommending MEPA Academy. If your child enjoys performing arts, this school is the right place for them.
Your supportive and family oriented atmosphere, outstanding teachers and choreographers have provided my son opportunities allowing him to compete at a higher level.
Our Mission
MEPA Academy opened in September 2021 as a brand new full time school for the Performing Arts. We offer professional standard vocational training alongside a high standard academic timetable to enable our pupils to fulfil their potential in whatever path they should take when leaving us at the end of their school journey as a member of our alumni.
MEPA Academy aspires to bring together the very best aspects of vocational and academic schooling with new and current ideas to keep our delivery exciting, inspiring and relevant for all our learners.
Our academic staff are aspirational and inspirational and have been engaged by MEPA because of their talent, experience and commitment to such a new and exciting project. Along with our highly talented and experienced vocational staff, we aim to provide our young people with a broad education that will enable them to follow their ambitions.
