Please contact the office as soon as possible to let us know your child will not be in school. You can contact us via email on info@mepaacademy.com or via telephone on 01622 756644. If your child is off for more than one day, please let us know every morning of their absence or confirm a day they will return.
Within two weeks of your audition you will receive a letter with the outcome of your audition and how to accept your place if you are successful.
We are happy to support any child working professionally during academy time as long as they do not have too much time off during term time and are able to catch up on any work missed. If a child is behind in their school work, we may not be able to allow extra time off to work.
We are happy for students to continue their extra curriculum classes outside of school. However we do also offer extra evening and weekend classes at MEPA Studios which is included in your termly fees.
Yes - we ask all students to take part in all vocational classes.
Students will take part in a mix of academic and vocational classes everyday. In general, the mornings are used for academic work and afternoons are for vocational work.
We have one show per term with two shows in term three (one is a full musical, the other is an end of term showcase).
MEPA Academy offers very limited bursary awards. Any bursaries given are via means testing and audition.
