Students from MEPA Academy enjoyed an unforgettable weekend in Liverpool as they attended the CYD? Super Convention 2026, one of the UK's most exciting celebrations of dance and performing arts.
The weekend provided our students with a fantastic opportunity to immerse themselves in the professional performing arts industry, experience an inspiring atmosphere and celebrate their shared passion for dance, performance and creativity.
Throughout the convention, students had the opportunity to watch outstanding performances, experience the energy of a major performing arts event and gain valuable inspiration from talented performers, choreographers and industry professionals. Experiences such as these are an important part of life at MEPA Academy, helping students broaden their horizons, develop their aspirations and recognise the exciting opportunities available within the performing arts industry.
A particularly special highlight was the opportunity to support MEPA College, the Headline Sponsors of CYD? Super Convention 2026, as their students took to the stage to deliver a series of spectacular performances. It was wonderful for our Academy students to see the exceptional talent, professionalism and dedication of MEPA College performers, providing a powerful insight into the progression opportunities available beyond their secondary education.
The weekend was about much more than watching performances. It was an opportunity for our students to build friendships, develop their confidence, experience new environments and create lasting memories together. Being part of such a large-scale event also encouraged independence, teamwork and a greater appreciation of the commitment and hard work required to succeed within the performing arts.
At MEPA Academy, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. Our commitment to providing exceptional enrichment opportunities ensures that students benefit from experiences that complement their academic studies, nurture their individual talents and support their wider personal development.
We are incredibly proud of how our students represented MEPA Academy throughout the weekend, demonstrating enthusiasm, maturity and a genuine passion for the performing arts.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the weekend possible, and congratulations to all the MEPA College students, choreographers and creative team for their outstanding contributions to such a memorable event.
It was a fantastic weekend of inspiration, celebration and unforgettable experiences, and one that our MEPA Academy students will remember for years to come!
